Police Presence - 13th of November 2025

On the evening of the 13th of November 2025 there was a large Police presence on the High Street, Tadcaster following an incident that occurred nearby. 

A male was arrested for several offences and taken into Police custody where he was later charged and remanded to court. 

I would like to reassure the public that this was an isolated incident with no wider threat.
